The joints on the mantel dried overnight. However, the 45s were a little messy when I took off the 90 degree braces. Sometimes on weekend days I can get a lot done in the shop. This morning I clamped together a walnut mantel for my Aunt and Uncle’s fireplace. I am a little worried about the miters on the ends because it is such a long piece. The ratchet strap came in handy.
