Sanded the curly pine and walnut box. Put on two coats of Danish finish. The walnut insert is sticking up on that front end, but it will be on the bottom of the box. The curly pine has a lot of depth now that there is a finish. Hardware tomorrow, I hope.
The next project is to start forming some spalted maple for three radiator covers on my parents front porch.
